Features

This is a list of features currently available in SIGMA. Please note that some of the features require a specific role and/or access level and may not be available to all users.

• Personal List of Sites
  Create your personal list of sites to be automatically scanned and see the status of mutiple sites at a glance. Problems with the SSL configuration or the certificates are shown directly in the summary (currently being extended)
• See details of scans
  Where necessary you can call up more details about the scan results or see the complete details at SSL Labs.
• Custom Lists
  Create custom Lists to see only certain sites at the same time (eg. sites of specific company/department/country). Just put the sites you want to see on the list.
• Quick Analysis of Vulnerabilities or Certificate Problems
  Show an indicator in the lists if vulnerabilities or certificate problems were found. Details are available in the detail view.
• See past changes in the configuration of your sites
  All scans are archived, so you can see historic results
• Notifications
  If the status of a site changes or a problem is detected a notification is sent to the user. Optionally notifications can be sent out by mail once a day.
• Central queuing system
  Even if several users watch the same site it is held only once in a central database. Sites are automatically queued for scans every three days. If necessary a site can also be requeued manually by an admin.
• API
  Make the list of your site available to others using API-Keys. Read-only lists can be either shown as HTML-pages or JSON. API-Keys can be limited to a specific type of view and can also be limited to a certain date.
• Invitation System
  Each user can invite up to 10 friends or colleagues to use SIGMA.
• Blacklist
  If for some reason a site should not be visible and scanned by SIGMA it can be blacklisted by an Admin. After a site was blacklisted it can no longer be added by users to their lists. In Addition it will no longer be queued for rescan and all existing information on the sie is deleted.
• Optional display name
  In their profile users can create an optional display name, which will be shown instead of their username.
• Import a list of sites
  Admins can import a list of multiple sites and associate them with a specific user.
• Optional Two Factor Authentication
  To increase account security you optionally activate two factor authentication using OTPs generated by apps like Authy, Google Authenticator, etc.

Roadmap

This is a list of features that are either currently under development or planned to be added at some time. There is no guarantee that a specific feature will be added or in which order. Also since this site is developed in my free time no promises regarding dates can be made. If you would like to see a certain feature please let me know.

• Paging for long lists
  Optional paging to only show a certain number of sites per page.
• Redesign API
  The API will be completely redesigned to make accessing its functionality easier.
• Integrate Display-API options with ToURL@
  Integrate ToURL@ URL shortning service to create easier to read API URLs (optionally). I chose ToURL over other services because a) I believe it is the best availble in terms of security and data privacy and b) I wrote it myself ;)
• Provide original results via JSON
  The complete SSL Labs results are already archived in the database. They will be accessible via a call to the SIGMA API in JSON format.
• Add help texts
  At some points additional information about usage and scan details will be added.
• Suspend Scanning Website
  Similar to blacklisting, but keep data of site accessible while disbale queuing and scanning
• Redesign Admin area
  As the site gets new options the admin area gets crowded. Will have to rethink the way admin-options are accessed.
